News Interview Report from Ocean View Music Label, “Possession” album from Keyman South Went Back to Studio

“Hi Biatch,” Didi Owl (“Didi”), the Honorable Executive Producer of Ocean View Music Label.

“What’s Up?” Keyman South (“Keyman”).

“So, where is the album?” Didi.

“It is funny when you mention that. Remember when we were doing research together on music production engineering. My stance is the melody matters more or even governs and you made me see the clean cut ideology on audio engineering,” Keyman.

“So?”

“So, again tacky story. Remember around that time I used my MacAir speaker did two albums? Then it changed to my iPhone speaker and I felt it worked,” Keyman.

“And?” Didi.

“Shut up~ So, ‘Possession’ was almost published and suddenly I called up by work,” Keyman.

“So?” Didi.

“I felt using my phone to record is ok but something is unavoidable. It is the surrounding noises or the sound of my breathe. Again, I argued back to myself if people use phone speaker to listen to my music, they kind of cannot hear or even a good speaker,” Keyman.

“But?” Didi.

“So, again. Coincidentally, I joined Music Alliance and I recommend you to join to,” Keyman.

“Okay~” Didi.

“Why not? It is basically equivalent to a Master Degree program. There was a review session that I submitted one of my un-mastered track; it was actually the song ‘Model’.”

“I will say that song is just okay,” Didi.

“Really? Why? It sounds too gay?” Keyman.

“Not really, it is just a say,” Didi.

“So, the reviewer says, ‘noooooo, it needs to be mastered!’ and I was like, ‘so, if I master a song with my phone record but how about I seriously make my home studio?'” Keyman.

“Interesting, and then what happened?” Didi.

“So, I listened a few of your new tracks, found the edits on the mastering point and try to apply your concept and did a few new tracks,” Keyman.

“OMG, I am about to cry finally got some acknowledgment,” Didi.

By the way, Keyman defines Didi as a producer at same or higher level so he never comment on her composition or MIDI production.

“Why is that?” Didi.

“Uhhh, it is just too complicated to talk about music theory and chords trends as music is all about TIMING!” Keyman, “so I went to a audio equipment store and find my Arturia recording set.”

“Really, never heard of that brand?” Didi.

“Yes, I think yours is more expensive. This one is very economic friendly,” Keyman.

“And then what happened made all tracks went back to the baking room?” Didi.

“Again, I thought about when you were trying very hard on your first EP, like the intention to just try very best to sing the pitch. And then, I went to the self-doubt process. When the record is very clear, you pick on the pitch very very naturally strict and then the decision is, ‘I want to make this album very very strictly made’.” Keyman.

“So, let’s go over the original set and you can tell me it is a pick, it can be a pick or it is not in. If it is not in, you need to give me a reason,” Didi.

“Ok, game on,” Keyman.

“I leave my soul” Didi.

“That’s a keep as I think you do love the production as well :p”

“I don’t.”

“Sushi?” Didi.

“Nah, the song is not in.”

“Why?” Didi.

“I lost the view. I just feel I cannot sing it better,” Keyman.

Didi laughed a bit and then, “yes, it is sad.”

“Babe,” Didi.

“It was published so it will not be in,” Keyman.

“It was not published but I believe it was already received as it is a 2023 track,” Keyman, “so no.”

“Creepy Creep?” Didi.

“I recorded on Subway and I want to keep it one day when it can be released as it, so no,” Keyman.

“Just a Dream?” Didi.

“Same as ‘Babe’ already published so no,” Keyman.

“Cupcake?” Didi.

“No, I lost the view on that track as well. I felt it is good but my current production is more current I feel,” Keyman.

“But Why Are You Not Not my Kuwait?” Didi.

“That one is published already, so no.”

“Feel more sad than ever?” Didi.

“Well, I don’t feel tribe music fit this album’s concept. This album I want to make it sound like the concept of Mariah’s ‘Here For it All’,” Me.

“How so?” Didi asked Keyman with an British accent.

“I feel ‘Here for it all’ is very academic. You see again, chord trends very music school but new. The chorus are not very brain-washing but rather has its own stand. I feel she wanted to create something with standard so I was like, ‘oh since I have my home studio now, how about creating something with my current best composition skill per my belief?'” Keyman.

Didi was closing her eyes so she can be thinking or sleeping.

“So, how about the title track, ‘Possession’?” Didi.

“I am not sure as we can still call the album ‘Possession’ without the track,” Keyman.

“I guess the answer is ‘unknown’. Any new track you want to introduce to the audience and the commentators who try to promote their business here?” Didi.

“Well, definitely, ‘Brook Lake’ is back and another track I wrote for my sister are currently my favorite,” Keyman.

“Any projecting release date?” Didi.

“The boss said I need to speed it up and I am trying it but I still don’t know,” Me.

“Ok, let’s see what happen next :P” Didi
