“Crazy God Mother II” Excerpt IV, Kiss a Stranger

Indira told me she has a project in California, Ocean Side.

“I have a bad taste in finding my exotic hotel model,” me.

“Yeah, the one looks like Jamie Fox and Michael,” Indira.

Mom told me it was a high crime area with a lot of prostitution activities, that’s why I was curious to go.

However, that was superficial, as I recently found out a secret, a secret to overcome obstacle.

After my gogo boy life in New York, I stopped going to a bar for many years. It is basically because of the social media, when you can find someone there within 1 hour, how you can waste your time to find someone in a bar?

First you need to do eye contact, second, you need to find the chance to have a conversation, third, you need to be sure what to talk about what not to, fourth, you then talk about going home or not and lastly, how can you expect not to be surprised?

Unless, it is a different era, a true, and different era.

Mom opened a bar in West Hollywood. I saw one of my half siblings there as a bartender but people kept looking at us to see whether we would do something.

We usually don’t but since everyone there very Frenchy. You can kiss goodbye to the guard in a Frenchy greeting way.

“Oh, but you guys’ face together for too long when doing it,” someone.

“We did not,” him.

His name is Alex, of course, Alexandra Niche.

But I do secretly enjoy that as a bartender, he wears the tank top shows his body and I got to touch his wrist while hugging him.

It reminds me me and Zezo, when we were praying together.

The only difference is that, he feeds me drugs.

One time he put a pill into the drink and the next thing that I remember is that, I went to an apartment with another person.

Our bet is whether I had the gut to ask for money.

“Nah, I just want to see a luxury apartment in Beverley, oh no, a house, Mansion” me.

But it was very tempted to have that sort of fun and bet.

After that night, another god dad of mine got mad so I did not get to see Alex for like a month and he was not allowed to work on Friday nights no more.

“But you gets to hang out there,” me, “show me your phone.”

“No, don’t invade my privacy,” Alex.

That night Alex was not there and I went to the bar.

I was sitting next to God dad. He was the security guard and told me he works there.

The music plays and I did not know why only if when a former actor in Gossip Girls is working, the music sounds good.

I had about 4 glasses of bourbon while watching the sports on TV, again, the American Football which I never can figure out the rules or how people can be happy watching it.

I feel drinking has its magic. It relaxes you and at the same time as Indira said, “if you are truly drunk, you will not be able to do anything.”

“If I am tipsy and possessed, I can do everything. Since, I am another person,” me.

Before the end of the night, a guy was siting crossed the bar. I did not say a word in French, after seeing him looking at me, I approached, “hi, it is time to take me home.”

And then I kissed his lips and toungue for 2 minute.

Everyone in the bar is watching and I feel the room suddenly paused in a zoom. The atmosphere of the room frozen to a warm degree. I remember after the end of the kiss, I looked at the bartender with my left eye, “why are you watching?”

The color of the lights that night I still remember, enough to make someone mad.

“Why you come to my gym?????” me, the second day.

“You know? he works at the bar,” and then he looked at me with his friends while laughing, the following weekend.

“Is he the person that I kissed that night?” I asked myself, “no I don’t think so.”

Suddenly I woke up at the bar standing, the person was gone.

“Ok, at least not taking anyone home tonight,” me.
