Where your position in part of the chain IS?

My recent law practice suddenly has turned back to where I was when I was a law student, where are you at a student, it does not mean that you cannot be a CEO.

“When” was in business school, I learned the vertical and horizontal business model.

I did not know back then. I just vaguely believe that it can be something like vertical business model, people pass after work. For example, if you make the diamond, and the fate of the diamond is supposed to be pass onto the next person to be put onto a phone case., Then when you complete making the time and it is up to the nest worker to put the diamond onto the phone case, you cannot worry about how the diamond feed onto a phone case.

But somebody always wants his diamond back.

Horizontal on the other hand, I just feel it can be something like VR together in the zoom work on a project. 

Immigration law practice, people can believe differently. It can be something like since it is dangerous, I need to close the deal when my part is done.

On the other hand, when the goal is to achieve the ultimate result, what should we do can be a horizontal thing , another word, it can be passed.

You don’t know whether you can go to the final destination and achieve the final target but when you insisting your aim for the go, really it is up to the whole team or we should say: “the circle each individual may contribute and may not lead to the final result.”

It is not a surprise when you are a paralegal and you want to become a lawyer. It is also not a surprise when you not want to be a lawyer but you suddenly are granted a license. How to use it or how to utilize it always is the question since “should I do it horizontally” or “vertically” can be the same. 

I remember today I have a client who came to the office and ask for the simplest application to be prepared by the law firm.

He asked me how much is it. I told him 8000 and he went away paid 18,000 for the case and went to another firm.

Because another story was told.

“You should not say you can and you know take the case for 1500 when he handed that way and made you believe but lower the price he will retain us” and I answer to the boss “and what if someone pay him 18,000 to just want you to believe that?”

Learning is one form of the training because when you are lawyering, you are in the zone of calculation. For example, “must the crime reach to the level of beyond a reasonable doubt, otherwise, not guilty. “

“I have the mean to become a criminal lawyer so I just did not take the notary test even you instruct me to do.”

At the same time, I am scared to become a notary republic. It is an authority and when you gain one, you need to exchange your effort to another. I just wonder if to the offset does not meet the aspect , less lawyering is always our goal.

So, if I have to gain another authority card, I will take the murder case.
