How to write a novel, Ocean View Group Publishing Unit

Writing a novel can be a very interesting thing to do no matter your major is in creative writing or not.

It also creates a fictitious world which the novel will draw the reader into.

It also creates imagination as how the main character may look. For example, if the main character is an attractive female, then you will think which celebrity looks like or may looks like the main character of the novel, and why that lady is attractive.

The principle is also important. For example, romance, not cheating is always emphasized but on the other hand, you can also depict a world of everyone can just have one night stand with each and move on with life, a healthier lifestyle.

Unexpected event is also embedded into the novel drafting. But it has to be logical. It cannot be something like today my mother is eating lunch and tomorrow she is moving to Canada.

Yes, this event is unexpected but boring and not logical. It has to be a surprise while being logical.

It can be something like, I never feel me and my mother look alike but somewhat look alike and then I met my birthmother when I was 17 suddenly. This is unexpected event and at the same time it shows how genuine the mother and son relationship is.

Also, the genre of the novel cannot be too combined with different traits. It can be a story between spousal fights but it cannot happen for example, in Harry Potter. Somewhat it can be.

Technology also plays a part. If I write a novel when I was in my teenage years, I will say it is more realistic for the main characters to travel to another city by car or plane if possible. I would not have written about some rich family story since I did not know what that was.

Sex also part of the concern. The novel can address the openness and randomness towards sex but it cannot keep spreading that sex with anyone and however whatever is ok.

It can be, and the other part has to become something like someone used to be a prostitute and then become a scholar or we may say, a lawyer.

As a novelist, hints can be very interesting. If you move what happened in real life to the novel, the innuendo can make you have the initiative to continue writing.

When it happened in real life, it can be fun for your friends read it when they know it happened.

For example, I put makeup all the time as a guy but also I don’t want people to find out. When your sister one day at the family dinner asked you whether you had any made up. It could be very upsetting but the other family members will laugh when reading it. Because? It is not like I committed murder.

The ending and beginning have to somewhat with certain style but cannot reuse certain style or trick. It can be. For example, “we are heading the bright future of our own.” It looks beautiful but it has to after something dramatic or devastating happened. It can also after a wedding. But of course, after a wedding, you will know, there is no future, per se.

See? The unexpected event writing skill I just used.
