“Crazy God Mother II”, Excerpt 10, “Lunch with a Date”

“Babe where you want to go?” Boshi.

“I do not want to go nowhere,” Iboul.

Iboul is my newest daughter who visited the office the other day.

Indira likes Iboul very well and I don’t know if it is because of their skin color.

Iboul and Boshi actually knew each other longer than. Iboul was born in Dubai and she was moved to the United States.

How was she able to born? I do not know. What I feel scared is that what if she grows up and becomes more attractive than Aniram. I don’t want her to say something like “bitch I am so much more attractive than you.”

I remember when I was 15 years old, and when I was doing a lot of bad things. One day when I had a selfie, I realized that I did not look as attractive in comparison to the time that I do not do bad things or being mean.

And then Iboul was running to me and holding my legs. She asked me to take him away to somewhere.

“Where do you want to go?” Me.

“…….” She is still hugging my legs.

“Ok, we will take you to the restaurant nearby,” Me.

Boshi and I brought Iboul to Roxy hotel oyster bar. That’s my favorite restaurant.

I don’t know why Iboul looks at Boshi with a weird eye. It is not like him and I can affect her life.

“Hi, here is a children’s meal,” Boshi was showing Iboul the menu.

Iboul now pretends that she does not speak.

“Yeah, let me pick for her. Probably her dad takes her to McDonald’s too much,” Me, “plus order me a cup of coffee.”

Yes, after lunch when there is a meeting, alertness is required.

“Ok, so let me see the checklist today. You know pretending Indira is super not fun. I do not know what’s wrong with her,” I was talking to Boshi, “I am not her but when the employees look at me, I feel they are in fear of her.”

Andrew was passing by and I saw him through the window.

“Hi dude, come in. Have some oyster,” I ran outside and asked Andrew who accidently showed up here.

Andrew is my half-brother who is in business law. Basically all he talks about is contract. Iboul was running to Andrew when she saw him near the entrance.

“It is weird,” and then I was staring at Boshi and wondering why.

“Hi, the new new born is tomorrow,” someone.

“Year, 11 is a charm especially on Christmas eve,” my head is about to blow since it is scary to have a kid.

What if someday I need to raise them?
